About Naviscroll
A free personal project, built from the documentation work it replaces.
Naviscroll is a browser extension that captures a process while you do it and turns it into a step-by-step procedure with screenshots. Everything runs in your browser.
Where it came from
It started as a frustration lived out over years in support, internal IT and customer-service roles, where explaining things is the whole job and the same procedures were rewritten, re-screenshotted and re-explained because the last version had quietly gone stale. Creating a good document routinely took longer than doing the task it described.
What we believe
Documenting knowledge should not take longer than doing the work itself, and nobody should have to explain the same thing twice. The record should be maintained, not rebuilt.
The name
Naviscroll was previously named SOP Capture. Only the public name and the visual identity changed. Documents, Styles and templates made under the former name load exactly as before.
Who runs it
Naviscroll is a personal project. It is free, it is not a company, and there is nothing to sign up for. It exists because the person who built it needed it and could not find it.
