Client entertainment is recoverable against an engagement only where the attendees are listed and the cost per head is inside the limit at section 4.3, and VAT is never reclaimable on it. The category held in Ardeloe drives the posting and the VAT treatment, so a miscategorised claim is corrected before approval, not afterwards.
